COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our company SUMOMOTO started its activity in Hamamatsu city (Japan) in 1993 with the establishment of the plant for the production of cooling system parts. All products manufactured by the plant were supplied to the assembly lines of manufacturers of automobiles, agricultural machinery and construction equipment.
In 1998 some plants manufacturing automotive spare parts merged to group of companies named SUMOMOTO GROUP. The same year new production facilities for the manufacture of brake system parts were launched. In 2009 board of directors of the group of companies decides to pass certification according to ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14 000 environmental management standards at the group enterprises.
In 2011 the company expanded its production once again by starting of air, cabin, oil and automatic transmission filters manufacture. The same year certification for compliance with ISO/TS 16 949 standards was carried out. In 2012 SUMOMOTO GROUP’s management decided to open new plants for the production of spare parts in Asia. At the current moment SUMOMOTO GROUP includes enterprises, laboratories and quality control departments located in Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, China, Thailand, Taiwan, India and produces spare parts of the following groups: parts and components of engine, transmission, power and cooling systems, fuel and brake systems, suspension and steering, electrics. The core mission of the association is to combine Japanese quality and Asian production capacity.

PRODUCTS
Product range of SUMOMOTO GROUP covers cars, agricultural machinery and construction equipment for Japanese, European, Korean, Chinese and American manufacturers and includes the following product groups: parts of brake system, filters, windshield wiper blades, CV joints, belts, lamps, spark plug cable sets, shock absorbers, shock absorber repair kits, suspension parts, parts of electrical group. Since the company’s interests extend far beyond Japan, the company is constantly expanding its product range.
PRODUCTION
Enterprises that produce spare parts for cars, agricultural machinery and construction equipment are equipped with the most advanced equipment. High-quality modern materials are used for production of spare parts. The control of incoming materials and control over the quality of manufactured products were established at the production. The enterprises passed certification in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
